Puppy Foundation & Junior Courses.

Forthcoming Course Dates.

Puppy Foundation Course

Why Should You Choose Four Paws Dog Training?

As well as the basic training we also help your puppy cope with new places, new sights, sounds, and smells, all introduced gradually, at a pace that your puppy can cope with.

We show you how to socialise your puppy correctly.

Where the emphasis is on enabling your puppy to be calm around new people, new dogs, and other animals, being careful not to overwhelm or overstimulate your puppy in the process.

Strategies to ensure that your puppy makes the right choices about where to toilet, what to chew, and when to rest.

We show you how to train your puppy at home and how long the training sessions should be.

We also show you short training games which are fun for the puppy and the family, laying foundations for more advanced training as your puppy develops, and building a great bond between you and your puppy.

Training should be about fun, and we show you how to do that, so you and your puppy will have a long and lasting future to-gether.

Junior Course.

This course is for dogs from 6 months to 1 year old, that wish to further their training or haven’t had any training. On this course we teach your dog to focus on their owner, to do the basic commands of the Sit, Stay, etc and then further the training all with reward based training.

As the course progresses we use games so training is still fun for your dog. This is a very important age for your dog as they are entering adolescence, and need us to guide them through it. This time in a dogs life can be as much challenging for the owner as it is for the dog, so we show you the strategies and how to cope with it. We are always here for help and advice.

Courses 5 weeks £60.
