Loved the puppy course with my dog. Kathryn’s sensible approach to training, and having fun at the same time worked wonders for us. We now have a well mannered, confident dog, who we adore and its all thanks to Kathryn.David, Sue, & Poppy.( Whittle le Woods.)
I have known Kathryn for a number of years, through her work with Rescue, as she has rehomed hundreds of dogs into their new home.
She uses kind training methods, and has helped many owners and dogs, she is always there to help anyone with a training problem. I have no hesitation in recommending Kathryn.

I have known Kathryn for many years and she is an asset to our Rescue. Her gentle expertise and knowledge of dog behaviour has helped many a traumatised Golden to trust again. She will also help and advise new owners who may have a few teething problems in the first few weeks with a new dog.
This is invaluable to us, the new owners and the Goldens.I would recommend her to anyone who has a training problem whether it be small or large, as I know she will work through it with you.

Kathryn helped me with my older lab Charlie, pulling on the lead and recall, she was brilliant and her advice helped me enormously, even my neighbours cud see a big difference in Charlie after the two visits to my home, thank you Kathryn x
Just a quick note to say Bella our rescue golden retriever, is responding well to the training techniques you gave me. You were right about not training on the ‘off day’ for the dog, no other ‘experts’ have mentioned this…I get lots of ‘advice’ when out walking, but what you said has worked in our favour and Bella has responded well.
Thank you, your advice has been invaluable.
Take care. Diane & Bella

My name is Holly I’m a 14 month old Cavapoo. My daddy took me to four paws dog training classes. I like going there my teacher is called Kathryn Roughley she is very nice, she has taught me how to sit/stay,go down, wait. walk to heel and lots more. She never gets angry or shouts at me but gives me lots of praise and treats. She also gives my daddy lots of tips and information on how to look after me what food I should eat, checking my ears, coat, claws and lots more. I would recommend four paws dog training.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed coming to Puppy classes with our boys Gideon and Ezra. Both dogs have made really noticeable progress and benefited greatly from Kathryn’s positive teaching methods. We realise this is the start of a lifelong journey for all of us, but what a great start we’ve had. We are so proud of our lovely boys and Four Paws has played a big part in this. Thank you very much..

Bertie is beginning to be a lot better on the lead now, its not been easy at times but we have persevered and now got him walking nicely, 🙂 walks are so much easier, we have the odd blip, but only now and again…just come back from a few days in the Lakes and the walks were so much more enjoyable..

Kathryn came to our home to help us train our Labrador Spencer, he jumped up and wouldn’t listen to us. Kathryn showed us how to train Spencer, and we have kept up with the training and cant believe the difference in him. He now listens to us, and we are now enjoying him, at times it has been hard but Kathryn was always there to assure us and help us along our training path. We love him to bits and cant thank you enough Kathryn. Thanks once again and big kiss from Spencer.

After a fantastic afternoon with Kathryn, I just wanted to say to everyone “Don’t overlook the 1-2-1 home visits”! I couldn’t even begin to think how many hours of training time Kathryn has covered in the home visit. When she started with ‘Watch Me’ with puppy-Floyd, one of my existing Bichons, Bertie, just joined in from fascination. It’s amazing what Kathryn can spot and advise on when you are in you own home. **THANK YOU** for today, Kathryn – lots of practice coming up now!Ani & Floyd (Chorley)
